Venturr ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Venturr mobile application and related services.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address used for authentication
• Saved content: URLs you save (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and extracted place data (names, locations, categories)
• Travel preferences: Trip settings such as duration, budget, group size, and trip purpose
• Subscription status: Your current plan and payment information managed through Apple

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Venturr service:

• To create and manage your account
• To save your discoveries and generate trip itineraries
• To personalize your travel planning experience
• To process subscriptions and manage access to features

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Venturr:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and user management
• Google Places — Geocoding and location data
• Foursquare — Place enrichment (ratings, photos, hours)
• Iframely — URL metadata extraction
• Apple — In-app subscription payments

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is shared with the third-party services listed above only as necessary to provide the Venturr service.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app, which will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Firebase, and restricted database access.

Children's Privacy

Venturr is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
